These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Knit Tailor (“Service”), operated by The Halfie Glow, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Knit Tailor is a web-based tool that generates custom knitting patterns from your body measurements and yarn gauge. We provide pattern output, version history, and fit tracking tools. We do not guarantee that any generated pattern will produce a specific finished result. Knitting outcomes depend on variables outside our control, including your execution, materials, and technique. Patterns are generated based on the measurements and gauge values you provide. Inaccurate or incomplete inputs will produce inaccurate output. You are responsible for verifying your measurements before generating a pattern.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Knit Tailor is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, contact us at support@tailorknits.com and we will delete it promptly. Provide accurate information when creating your account. If your information changes, update it.
Free Tier. Free accounts may create one active project with three pattern versions.
Pro Tier. Paid subscribers get unlimited projects, version history, fit feedback tracking, and access to shaping features. Pricing is displayed at checkout and may change with advance notice.
Billing. Subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Automatic Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Cancellations. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full Pro access through that date.
No Prorated Refunds. We do not issue prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period.
Billing Errors. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@tailorknits.com within 30 days of the charge. We will review and issue a refund if a billing error occurred on our end.
Downgrade. After your Pro subscription ends, your account reverts to the Free tier. Your existing projects and versions remain accessible, but you will not be able to create new projects beyond the free tier limit until you resubscribe.
What You Own. Your body measurements, pattern inputs, and generated patterns belong to you. We don't claim ownership of your data.
What We Do With It. We store your data to provide the Service. We do not sell your personal data. Your body measurements are used solely to generate patterns and track fit feedback on your behalf. We do not use them for any other purpose. Our Privacy Policy explains in full how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Data Export and Deletion. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from your account settings. Account deletion removes your data permanently and cannot be undone.
Beta Access. We may offer beta access to selected users at no charge for a defined period. Beta users are subject to these Terms in full. Beta access periods are granted at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice. Your data during beta is treated identically to paid account data and is subject to the same export and deletion rights.

The Service, including its software, design, and generated pattern templates, is owned by The Halfie Glow, LLC. Your generated patterns may be used for personal use, for garments you create for sale, and for teaching or instructional purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the pattern generation tool itself, or represent Knit Tailor's output as your own original pattern design for commercial distribution.
The Service is provided “as is.” We make no warranties about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Knitting is a skilled craft — we remove the math, but we can't guarantee your results.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Halfie Glow, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
